This report discusses feasibility of using the Pyrocore burner, manufactured by Alzeta Corporation, in gas-fired refinery heaters. This low-NOx, radiant burner can address the needs of those oil refineries that wish to enhance the emissions and thermal performance of their heaters and furnaces.
