Frequency relays in digital equipment elements

The use of frequency relays in power systems is discussed. Digital frequency relays have a high stability in frequency triggering. A prototype digital frequency relay was manufactured and has been in experimental operation in power systems. Operating experience confirmed the high reliability of the device.
