Effects of violation of Galilean invariance of pairing

We discuss the violation of Galilean invariance of pairing interactions in a giant dipole resonance. A self-consistent form of the symmetry-restoring pair interaction, with angular momentum and parity 1/sup -/, is obtained on the basis of the hypothesis of the Galilean invariance of the pairing. The consequence of allowance for these interactions is considered.
