GAPL-3 is a computer program which performs an elastic-plastic, large-deflection analysis of thin plates and axisymmetric shells with pressure loading and deflection restraints. The solution is obtained by a discrete element method employing a double layer of elements to facilitate approximation of the inelastic stress state. The program is written in FORTRAN IV for the CDC-6600 computer. (NSA 24: 45173)
