Tenants in a Florida office building who invested $250,000 in a variable-speed chiller are now sharing $103,000 in annual energy cost savings. The chiller is the latest in a series of energy-management steps taken at First Florida Tower in Tampa, and the first to use a creative financing scheme that allows long-term tenants to share an investment that the owner rejected.
