High-moment corrections to the Drell-Yan cross section with an alternate parton density

We calculate order-..cap alpha../sub s/ corrections to the Drell-Yan cross section dsigma/dQ/sup 2/ using a previously defined alternate parton density. We find that the ln/sup 2/n corrections to the nth moment of the cross section are absorbed into the process-independent density.
