In this address to the UN General Assembly, Britains' Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, encourages the organization to secure world-wide agreements on ways to cope with the effects of climate change, the thinning of the ozone layer and the loss of species. She suggests that a realistic timetable should be established and that developed countries should contribute more of their resources to help developing countries.
