Carrier collection efficiency of a-SiH/sub x/ Schottky-barrier solar cells

A diffusion model for the collection efficiency of a-SiH/sub x/ Schottky-barrier solar cells is found to be in excellent agreement with experimental data. This model accounts for the poor short-wavelength response of these devices and suggests a way for improving their performance.
