Determine pore pressures from MWD gamma ray logs

Natural gamma ray intensity measurements, used to determine and evaluate changes in formation pore pressure, are made by a measurement-while-drilling tool whose development, benefits and limitations are evaluated for Gulf Coast applications. Also included are two in-depth examples that show how such real-time data are applied.
