Heat exchange and preheater of the 700-atm liquid-phase hydrogenation at Blechhammer

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:6719651
Conditions for several alternative paste heating arrangements in the 700-atm stalls of the Upper Silesian installation are shown in tables and temperature diagrams. Gasoline production from coal in a four-phase stall is the first process discussed, under the following possible conditions: (1) without heat exchange of paste with cold HOLD (heavy-oil let-down material), (2) without heat exchange with hot HOLD in a second path, (3) with heat exchange of thin paste with cold HOLD, (4) with heat exchange of all the paste including the cold HOLD, and (5) with heat exchange of all the paste without the cold HOLD but with hot HOLD between exchanges I and II. The second process was concerned with gasoline and fuel oil from coal in a four-phase stall and assumed the following conditions: (1) with heat exchange of coal paste including cold HOLD and (2) with heat exchange of coal paste including 1/3 of the cold HOLD combined with 2/3 hot HOLD between heat exchanges I and II. The third process considered gasoline and fuel oil from coal in a three-phase stall and was concerned with conditions of (1) heat exchange of coal paste including cold HOLD and (2) heat exchange of coal paste including 1/3 of the cold HOLD combined with 2/3 hot HOLD between heat exchanges I and II. 11 diagrams, 1 table
