This article is an interview with Henry Geyelin, president of the Councl of the Americas and a leading spokesman for US business community on the role of US corporations in Latin America. Mr. Geyelin responded to questions covering a wide range of topics and geographic areas where multinational corporations are having influence. Multinational-corporation commitment to human rights are discussed, using Chile as an example. Nicaragua is used to discuss the close ties between business and politics.
