Isospin splitting of giant dipole resonance and the cross section of the reaction /sup 64/Zn(. gamma. ,n)/sup 63/Zn

The cross section of the reaction /sup 64/Zn(..gamma.., n)/sup 63/Zn was investigated for the high-energy component of the neutron spectrum (epsilon/sub n/> or =3.7 MeV). An analysis of the results indicates that the interpretation of the structure observed in the cross section of the /sup 64/Zn(..gamma.., n)/sup 63/Zn as a manifestation of isospin splitting is in error.
