A method is described for providing a permeably consolidated gravel pack in a well borehole penetrating a subterranean formation. A slurry composition is prepared containing a particular material coated with an uncured epoxy resin and a curing agent slurried in a hydrocarbon oil. The slurry is injected into the well bore and formation until a screen out occurs. The well is shut in until the resin-coated particulate mass cures to form a consolidated permeable sand or gravel pack. A portion or all of the consolidated mass in the well bore is then removed.
