A method is described for providing a permeably consolidated gravel pack in a well borehole penetrating a subterranean formation. A slurry composition containing a particulate material coated with an uncured epoxy resin and a curing agent slurried in a hydrocarbon oil is introduced into the formation at fracturing pressures. The slurry is injected into the well bore and formation fracture until a screen out occurs in the well bore. The well is shut in until the resin-coated particulate mass cures to form a consolidated permeable sand or gravel pack. A portion or all of the consolidated mass in the well bore is then removed.
