A method is described for hydrodewaxing a hydrocarbon feedstock comprising the steps of: (a) catalytically hydrodewaxing the feedstock by contact with a first intermediate pore crystalline zeolite catalyst under conditions sufficient to selectively convert waxy components comprising paraffins to produce a first effluent stream having an intermediate pour point of about 50/sup 0/ to about 70/sup 0/F, wherein the first effluent stream comprises olefins; (b) separating the first effluent stream to obtain a first vapor stream and a first liquid stream, the first liquid stream having an initial boiling point of at least 330/sup 0/F, wherein the first vapor stream comprises a portion of the olefins; and (c) catalytically hydrodewaxing the first liquid stream by contact with a second intermediate pore crystalline zeolite catalyst under conditions sufficient to selectively convert waxy components comprising paraffins to produce a second effluent stream having a pour point less than about 30/sup 0/F.
