Search for leptoquarks at Zeus

Preliminary limits on leptoquark mass have been established based on a data sample of about 1 [ital nb][sup [minus]1] integrated luminosity from the first HERA physics run. Only the neutral current decay channel is reported. The excluded mass ranges are between 29.5 GeV and 47 GeV for the full lefthanded electroweak coupling, and between 29.5 GeV and 67 GeV for the full righthanded electroweak coupling, at the 90% confidence level.
