Yrast decay schemes from heavy-ion + /sup 48/Ca fusion-evaporation reactions: IV: /sup 53/Cr, /sup 54/V, /sup 62/Co, and /sup 61hyphen63/Ni

Fusion-evaporation reactions induced by beams of 25--55 MeV /sup 9/Be and /sup 18/O on an isotopically enriched /sup 48/Ca target have been used to populate high-spin yrast levels in /sup 53/Cr, /sup 54/V, /sup 62/Co, and /sup 61hyphen63/Ni. Measurements consisted of ..gamma..-ray excitation functions, angular distributions, ..gamma..-..gamma.. coincidences, and recoil-distance and Doppler shift lifetime measurements, from which were deduced the energy levels, ..gamma..-ray branching ratios, most probable spin-parity assignments, and level lifetimes.
