The major program areas include: promotion of energy conservation in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors, and in SCL activities; sponsoring workshops and public relations seminars on solar energy and energy conservation; conducting energy audits, beginning demonstrations on waste heat and integrated Community Energy Systems; and evaluating the effectiveness of these activities.
