The criteria for selecting technologies covered in this report are listed. General background information on wind electric systems, geothermal electric direct heat systems, cogeneration, small hydroelectric, biomass conversion processes, and alcohol fuels, as well as an action plan to realize the maximum reasonable energy impact from each technology are presented. The action plan covers the next two years for each technology to resolve key impediments to development and to obtain a maximum reasonable level of energy production. Major milestones or events that must take place if the maximum reasonable projections are to be achieved are charted. (MCW)
