Angular distributions from 45[degree] to 135[degree] in 15[degree] intervals of [ital LMM] Auger electrons produced by 1.2-MeV and 1.8-MeV He[sup +]-ion bombardment of argon, methyl chloride (CH[sub 3]Cl), and hydrogen sulfide (H[sub 2]S) have been measured. The [ital LMM] total Auger yields were measured at 1.8-eV resolution with an experimental probable error not exceeding 9%. The results revealed that the angular distributions of the [ital LMM] total Auger yields of Ar, Cl, and S were isotropic at these bombarding energies.
