The Staten Island/New Jersey Urban Air Toxics Assessment Project (SI/NJ UATAP) was a cooperative study by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency - Region II, the State of New York, the State of New Jersey, the College of Staten Island of the City University of New York, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. It consisted of ambient air sampling on Staten Island and nearby New Jersey from October 1987 to September 1989, indoor air sampling from July 1990 to March 1991 in four homes, and an emission inventory of the study area. The volume contained the executive summary; the historical background of the project; summaries of Volumes II, III - Parts A and B, IV, and V; and a list of the project objectives with statements of how they were addressed.
