Anticorrosion technology demonstrated at Polish refinery

The Polish refinery and petrochemical complex at Plock, Poland, recently completed the installation of new protection technology to reduce corrosion in crude oil distillation units. The technology is based on injecting corrosion inhibitors into the unit at various points. Topics considered in this paper include corrosion protection, petroleum refineries, petrochemical plants, distillation equipment, corrosion inhibitors, and installation.
