Conference ·
OSTI ID:6558558
The present conference discusses topics in military and scientific applications of IR technology, thermal imaging systems, IR detectors and focal-plane arrays, Japanese advancements in IR technology, and IR instrumentation for scientific applications. Attention is given to IR mirror coatings for room-temperature and cryogenic temperatures, IR target acquisition using an adaptive difference-of-boxes filter, mm-wavelength military sensors, a 64 x 64 multiplexed InSb focal-plane area, CoSi{sub 2} Schottky-barrier IR detectors, aerodynamic applications of IR thermography, and an affordable 128 x 128 InSb hybrid focal-plane array. Also discussed are IR detectors for short-distance seeker munitions, ceramics for 3-5 micron transmission, feedback direct injection current readout for an IR CCD, a thermal IR profiling spectrometer, fast-scan spectroradiometry, and a wideband imaging spectrometer.
