Papers are presented on silicon technology development; CCD charge collection efficiency and the photon transfer technique; a 512 x 512 CCD visible imager with a fiber-optic faceplate; a high density frame to transfer image sensor with vertical antiblooming; digital CCD camera system architecture; and back side charging of CCDs. Topics discussed include large area CCD image sensors, fiber-optic coupled CID-MCP detectors; high performance CCD images, the enhancement of X-ray performance with new GEC CCD devices; the simplified technique of hologram generation and transmission; and performance analysis of the photon counting image acquisition system. Consideration is given to improving the performance of indium antimonide photovoltaic detector arrays using a FET-switched multiplexing technique, CCDs for IR focal plane arrays, point target location using hexagonal detector arrays, the performance limit of Schottky barrier and standard infrared focal plane arrays, PtSi hexagonal detector focal plane arrays, and the performance of shortwave infrared multispectral focal planes. Also discussed are silicide camera midwave infrared imagery, analog array processing of PtSi focal plane imagery, photometric imaging near infrared spectrometer, and an astronomical infrared camera utilizing a 1 x 32 InSb array.
