Azimuthal correlations in six-prong pp interactions at 200 and 400 GeV/c

In study of pp interactions by the nuclear emulsion method azimuthal correlations have been observed in six-prong stars with a shower spread 5<..delta..eta<6. These correlations are a tendency to collinearity of the transverse momenta of all particles with the exception of extreme particles on the pseudorapidity scale. These correlations may be due to formation of a heavy cluster in the central region, which decays into two light pion resonances.
