The (S iii) 18.71 ..mu..m line has been measured in four H ii regions, S158A, S158G, G75.84+0.4, and W3 IRS 1. The (S iii) 33.47 ..mu..m line has also been detected in all of these nebulae except S158G where only an upper limit to the line flux was determined. From these measurements, respective density estimates of 40 (+160, -40), >4400, 22,000 (+8000, -6000), and 20,000 (+10,000, -6000) cm/sup -3/ are obtained. These results indicate clumping is important in G75.84+0.4 and W3 IRS 1. Using these new density determinations, S iii abundances of approx.6 x 10/sup -5/ and approx.3 x 10/sup -5/ are found for G75.84+0.4 and W3 IRS 1, respectively, which are both higher than the ''cosmic'' abundance of 1.6 x 10/sup -5/. The present S iii abundance estimates are approximately 80% greater for G75.84+0.4 and 60% greater for W3 IRS 1 than those of Hert et al. who used rms electron densities derived from radio observations.
