Refractive index of some oxide and fluoride coating materials

Spectroreflectometry was used to measure the refractive index of the following optical coating materials: Ta/sub 2/O/sub 5/, HfO/sub 2/, Y/sub 2/O/sub 3/, La/sub 2/O/sub 3/, ZrO/sub 2/, CeO/sub 2/, CeF/sub 3/, LaF/sub 3/, LaF/sub 3/, NdF/sub 3/, MgF/sub 2/ in the 250--2000-nm spectral range.
