Elastic /sup 4/Hed scattering at high energies

The parameters of the elastic /sup 4/Hed scattering amplitude at p/sub lab/approx.20--200 GeV/c are calculated within the framework of Glauber's theory. The cross section of inelastic scattering with excitation of /sup 4/He is obtained. The effects of quadrupole deformation of the deuteron and of the spin structure of the NN scattering amplitude are investigated in the region of the diffraction minimum.
