Flare gas burner
This patent describes a flame impingement and heat flare gas burner. It comprises a tubular member having a discharge end and an inlet end; an external protective covering formed of a refractory material attached over the external wall of at least the discharge end portion of the tubular member. The external covering including at least one longitudinal channel formed therein; pilot flame burner conduit means having a protective covering of refractory material attached thereto disposed in the channel whereby the conduit means are shielded and an aerodynamically improved external surface is provided on the tubular member; and pilot flame burner means positioned adjacent the discharge end of the tubular member attached to the conduit means.
