This manual was developed for the Dept. of Energy as a useful tool to accomplish the retrofitting of homes and of the mechanical and heating equipment in homes in order to achieve energy conservation, and to aid building contractors in the development of a retrofitting business. The first section deals with retrofitting measures to decrease residential heat and energy losses. The second section provides an energy glossary and a short discussion of the energy crisis.
