This book was developed from a symposium sponsored by the Division of Polymer Chemistry, Inc., at the 201st National Meeting of the American Chemical Society, held April 14-19, 1991 in Atlanta, Georgia. Methods of preparing macromolecular assemblies are discussed. Practical applications of macromolecular assemblies or processes pertaining to them are described. Means of predicting the collective properties of the assembly based on the properties of the molecular components are discussed.
