Burning chemical wastes as synthetic fuels in cement kilns. Paper 81. 51. 1

Conference · · Proc., Annu. Meet., Air Pollut. Control Assoc.; (United States)
OSTI ID:6484501
Toxic liquid chemical wastes may be burned in cement kilns and thus both destroy most toxic organic wastes and use chemical wastes since many of them have significant heating values. Such liquid may be used as alternate fuels. Incineration of hazardous material is the only way to make sure that such materials, particularly polychlorinated biphenyls which may have otherwise environmental effects. 15 refs.
