Bremsstrahlung during collision of electrons with negative ions

General expressions are derived which take into account the dependence of the bremsstrahlung cross section on the polarization of the negative ions in the field of an electromagnetic wave. The bremsstrahlung cross section is calculated for electrons colliding with negative ions of atomic hydrogen.
