Position-sensitive compressed-xenon electroluminescent gamma detector

A position-sensitive compressed-xenon electroluminescent gamma detector with a field of vision of 300 mm is described. A space resolution of 3.3 mm and an energy resolution of 4.3% are obtained for gamma radiation with an energy of 59.6 keV at a pressure of 0.8 MPa.
