Hadronic {ital B} decays with CLEO-II

The CLEO collaboration reports on a variety of hadronic {ital B} physics in this proceeding. We have observed several {ital B} decay modes to two light mesons which are expected to proceed through gluonic penguin diagrams. We have done tests of factorization in {bar B}{r_arrow}D{sup ({asterisk})}(n{pi}) decays and have searched for the color-suppressed decays {bar B}{r_arrow}D{sup ({asterisk})0}({pi}{sup 0},{rho}{sup 0},{eta},{eta}{sup {prime}},{omega}). Inclusive upper vertex D production has been measured and the exclusive decay {bar B}{r_arrow}D{bar D}K{sup {minus}} has been observed in several channels. We have also developed a new reconstruction technique for {bar B}{r_arrow}D{sup {asterisk}+}{pi}{sup {minus}} which improves the reconstruction efficiency by a factor of 10 and which will provide interesting sensitivity to sin(2{beta}+{gamma}) at an asymmetric {ital B} factory. {copyright} {ital 1998 American Institute of Physics.}
