The calibration system is a collection of special purpose CAMAC modules that provide programmable calibration signals for the purpose of calibrating data acquisition systems used to collect data from various types of transducers. The processor based controller receives high level English type commands over a IEEE-488 bus, interprets the commands then translates them into command signals to the calibration modules. CAMAC's modular structure provides for easy configuration of a calibration system to match the data acquisition system.
