The report relates Brown and Caldwell's activities for the Outer Continental Shelf Environmental Assessment Program (OCSEAP) project entitled Oceanographic Data for the Bering, Chukchi and Beaufort Seas. The purpose of the project was to obtain and process measurements of tide along the Alaskan coast from Norton Sound north to Pt. Barrow and east of Pt. Barrow to the United States/Canada Border. The tidal circulation model is a submodel of an oil-spill risk analysis, and knowledge of the tidal circulation is required in order to estimate oil spill transport.
