Small angle hadron proton elastic scattering at Fermilab energies

This paper summarizes contribution 476/sup 1/ and 477/sup 2/; two high statistics experiments on hadron proton elastic scattering. The first is a high statistics study of ..pi../sup + -/p and pp elastic scattering at 200 GeV/c in a range of 0.60<-t<0.02(GeV/c)/sup 2/. The logarithmic slope, b, is found to increase substantially at small values of -t in agreement with a simple additive quark model (AQM). In the second contribution elastic scattering cross sections are measured on hydrogen in the Coulonb-nuclear interference region for ..pi../sup + -/p, K/sup + -/p and p/sup + -/p from 70 to 200 GeV/c.
