Off-resonance production of heavy vector quarkonium states in e/sup +/e/sup -/ annihilation

The inclusive production of the heavy quarkonium states V ( = u,Y,...) in e/sup +/e/sup -/ annihilation is studied in the framework of quantum-chromodynamic perturbative theory. The rate and spectrum allow the study of the jet structure produced via two intermediate gluons. The similar process of the Z/sup 0/ decay into VX is found to be extremely rare.
