The Logic Diagram delineates the basic logic of the SAM (SLAVE ANALOG MODULE) SLAVE CAMAC Analog Branch. This device can only be used with and a complement to the SPORT (Smart Port) normally used with the SLAC BADC (Brilliant Analog to Digital Converter). SAM is the receiving module for SPORT and cannot stand alone. This device is used extensively at SLAC on the Mark III detector at SPEAR.
