Journal Article · · Practicing Planner; (United States)
OSTI ID:6426328

Technical feature:A land use planning system designed for the Toledo-Lucas County Plan Commissions, Ohio, is described. The system was devised to incorporate a clear resource management concept, and be adaptable to, but not require use of, computer technology. The area and the land use planning system are surveyed. Factors to be considered during systems feasibility analyses are addressed. Prior to mapping, factor suitability criteria were selected for each of the four land uses: agricultural, residential, industrial/commercial, and open space.
