A cracking process is described comprising the step of contacting a hydrocarbon-containing feed stream having an initial boiling point, of at least about 400/sup 0/F. A catalyst composition comprises a zeolite selected from the group consisting of partially dealuminated natural faujasite, partially dealuminated natural mordenite, partially dealuminated synthetic faujasites and partially dealuminated synthetic mordenites. The zeolite has a unit cell size, in the range of from about 24.31 to about 24.42 angstroms.
