The compounds M/sub 3/ (UO/sub 2/(C/sub 7/O/sub 4/)/sub 2/(NH/sub 2/O)) H/sub 2/O, where M = NH/sub 4/, K, Rb, Cs, have been synthesized by reacting the hydroxylamide ion with derivatives of the aquadioalatodioxouranate ion, and the quanidinium compound has been isolated in the unhydrated form. It has been shown that the use of a ligand-redistribution reaction (the reaction of aquaoxalatodioxouranium with diaquabis(hydroxylamido)dioxouranium in the presence of an excess of oxalate ions in the solution) also results in the formation of dioxalatohydroxylamide complexes. It has been established by x-ray diffraction analysis that (NH/sub 4/)/sub 3/(UO/sub 2/(C/sub 2/O/sub 4/)/sub 2/(NH/sub 2/O)) H/sub 2/O has a hexagonal-bipyramidal structure with a coordination number for uranyl equal to 6 and bidentate chelating coordination of the oxalato and hydroxylamide groups.
