Energy savings from EPAct

This report estimates the energy savings that are expected to result from the energy efficiency provisions in the Energy Policy Act of 1992 (EPAct, Public Law 102-486). Most of the energy efficiency provisions are in Title I of the new law, although a few are found in other portions of the law. The energy savings estimates only include incremental impacts from the specific Federal policy initiatives. The savings estimates should be viewed as approximate due to the tremendous uncertainty regarding the response to some of the provisions.
