Simplifying tower equipment and controls

This seventh in a series of articles on ethanol distillation systems explains the simplification or elimination of some auxiliary equipment and controls. Tower design remains the same, but condensers, boilers, heat exchangers, pumps, etc. may be made more efficient. Less automatic control would require more operator attention. (DCK)
