Energy-conservation tax: impacts and policy implications

The net energy and employment effects of a rebated minemouth energy tax are estimated using a modified input-output model. The results indicate a very small drop in personal consumption coupled with a significant drop in energy use and an increase in employment. 28 references, 1 figure, 4 tables.
