We consider the possibility of determining the parameter sin/sup 2/theta/sub w/(theta/sub w/ is the Weinberg angle) from the P-odd correlations in the spectra of electrons and positrons from pair conversion of the transition 2s 1/2 ..-->..1s 1/2 in ..mu../sup -/ muonic atoms in the range 24less than or equal toZless than or equal to42 (Z is the nuclear charge). Scale estimates of the intensities of the accompanying background processes complicating the reliable theoretical interpretation of P-odd effects are made. It is shown that it is possible to design an experiment to measure sin/sup 2/theta/sub W/ with an accuracy of several percent on the basis of pair conversion only when a large range of positron energies near the hard limit of the spectrum is used.
