QCD Monte-Carlo models for e/sup +/e/sup -/ annihilations and hadron-hadron collisions

Conference ·
OSTI ID:6367472
QCD Monte-Carlo models for the production of parton and hadron showers in e/sup +/e/sup -/ annihilations that do not rely on the limited transverse-momentum jet parameterization of Feynman and Field are examined and extended to hadron-hadron collisions. Evidence for gluon Bremsstrahlung effects in large p/sub T/ hadron-hadron collisions is presented, and recent data from CERN and Fermilab for both large- and small-aperture transverse-energy calorimeter triggers are discussed.
