Form factors in radiative decays of pseudoscalar and vector mesons

From the dominance of the structureless anomalous part of the triangle quark diagram in processes of the type P..--> gamma gamma.. and P..-->..V..gamma.. it is deduced that the form factors of the decays P..-->..l/sup +/l/sup -/..gamma.. and V..-->..Pl/sup +/l/sup -/ are determined mainly by the contribution from virtual vector mesons, which corresponds to the vector-dominance model. The respective form factors of the photons also render convergent the expression for the amplitude of the process P/sup 0/..-->..l/sup +/l/sup -/. The calculation of the probabilities of the above decays leads to results in reasonable agreement with the measured data within the large experimental errors.
