Assuming the dominance of the anomalous parts of the quark diagrams in the amplitudes for the decays S..-->..P+P' and S..-->..V+V' (where V(V') is a vector meson or a photon), we have calculated the probabilities of the strong and electromagnetic two-particle decays of the J/sup P/ = 0/sup +/ scalar mesons delta(980), kappa-cur(1500), epsilon-c(1300), S( (980), and chi(3415). We have found the mixing angle of the eighth component of the octet with the singlet for the states epsilon-c(1300) and S*(980) to be theta/sub S/ = 53 +- 4/sup 0/. We have calculated the probabilities of the decays J/psi..-->..S+V and the total width of the decay channels of the meson chi(3415). The latter quantity was calculated using the prescription of Appelquist and Politzer. From the dominance of the structureless anomalous part of the SVV' quark diagram in the decays S..--> gamma gamma.. and S..-->..V..gamma.. we come to the conclusion that the form factors in decays of the type S..-->..Vl/sup +/l/sup -/ and V..-->..Sl/sup +/l/sup -/ are determined by the contributions of the virtual vector mesons, in accordance with the vector-dominance model. With the corresponding form factors we get a convergent expression for the amplitude of the process S..-->..l/sup +/l/sup -/, and hence we are able to calculate the probability of this decay.
